Some customers follow an On Demand pattern to their stone inventory. Typically once a customer commits to a Job, stone is ordered. When it arrives it's allocated to that Job and consumed. Very little stone is kept in stock, mostly from remnants or canceled Jobs.
If this sounds like your workflow, add a few Suppliers and a Purchase Order Form, then create a test Job to step through ordering, receiving, and consuming slabs.
