      Split & Allocate Slabs

      Slabs can be split into pieces to share between Jobs. When only part of a Slab is needed, enter a decimal amount when allocating Material.

      Slabs can be allocated from On-Hand Inventory, or designated as Wanted Material that must be ordered.

      When splitting Slabs, the remaining piece of a Slab does not have to be allocated immediately. Pieces split from On-Hand Slabs remain in On-Hand Inventory for use later.

      SPLIT ON-HAND SLABS

      1. Open a Systemize Job that is ready to have Material allocated.
      2. Click in the Material column of the Job Activity to allocate Material > select to Add Slabs From Inventory.
      3. Select Slabs and enter a decimal number for the Quantity > Add the Material to the Job. 

      SPLIT WANTED SLABS

      1. Open a Systemize Job that is ready to have Material allocated.
      2. Click in the Material column of the Job Activity to allocate Material > select to Add Wanted Slabs.
      3. Enter the Quantity, using a decimal to split a Slab into pieces, Material, and Color > Add any additional Material Information.
      4. Add the Material to the Job.
