Material tracked by square feet or square meters, can only enter a Length and Width when creating a Remnant. There is no way to enter unique shape measurements.
Note the shape and/or additional dimensions in the Notes Field as a Remnant is created to track L-shaped or unusual shapes.
- Start on the Job Activity page that has the original Slab assigned. Consume the Slab if it has not been already.
- Click on the status Consumed to edit the Slab> click the Split Slab icon at the top of the window.
- Click the Add Remnant button.
- Choose By Dimensions, and enter longest length and width in the Measurement field. Then add additional information in the Notes Field.
- Click the Add Image icon to add a photo of the Remnant if needed > Save.
